I will be the first to admit that I am a creature of habit – a lot of the pairings I wear day to day (particularly in winter) are just different variations of the same theme. Button-down shirt + sweater + skirt or pants. Even though there is nothing ground-breaking about this combination, depending on the pieces I choose, the finished looks can be very diverse (casual or sophisticated). In this look, the bow-tie adds more character to this preppy look, than the usual collar neck.
